Overview

What if your yes to Jesus took you to some of the most remote places in Australia?

The Outback DTS is an opportunity to go beyond the classroom and into the heart of Australia. Be immersed in the striking Australian wilderness and cross-cultural outreach as you grow deeper in the Word, encounter God, and discover what it means to carry His heart to every tribe, tongue, and nation.

We want to see the remote places of Australia revived, communities restored, and a nation transformed and discipled. This isn’t just a road trip—it’s an invitation to bring the gospel to remote towns and Indigenous communities, partnering with local churches, missionaries, and faithful believers to sow into restoration, revival, and unity.

Your DTS begins with nine weeks of lecture phase at our Perth mission centre, where you’ll be equipped in the Word, challenged in your faith, and prepared to live missionally. From there, you take your learning onto the open road as lecture phase and ministry continue in the untamed Australian Outback, travelling across the red desert and through the heart of the nation.

You’ll have the extraordinary opportunity to complete a half lap of Australia, ministering throughout the Kimberley, Northern Territory, and along the central road of Australia. Expect the ultimate Jesus-centred road trip: camping beneath endless stars, swimming in spring-fed gorges, sharing life around campfires, and partnering with churches, missionaries, and Christian leaders among some of the most remote and unreached communities in Australia.

On our 11-week outreach, we’ll take the gospel even further—across Australia and into the nations. You’ll have opportunities to support oral Bible translation projects, share the gospel, serve communities, and partner with ministries both across Australia and overseas.

This is a DTS for those who are hungry to know God more deeply and make Him known further.

Are you ready to step out, say yes, and let God use your life to touch communities, bring hope, and play a part in seeing Australia revived?
