YWAM Perth News - January 30, 2024

As we look ahead to 2024, we’re so grateful for all God has done in this past year. We’d love to share some highlights from 2023 with you.

We’ve been so thankful for the students God brought us last year. Each school was marked by young people who were sincere in their love for God, engaged, soft-hearted, and eager to be used by God in the nations. It’s been such an encouragement to see many of them heading into further training, joining us on staff, or, in so many other ways, stepping into the next things of God with faith and vision. We’re excited to see how God will continue to work through them in the nations.

God continues to be faithful to touch lives in myriad ways through our ministries. Take a few moments to watch the video above for just a few of these examples: ongoing Bible translation in Aboriginal communities in the Kimberley, photojournalism celebrating and engaging Myanmar, sports ministry touching young lives in Perth and mercy ministry showing Jesus to families in crisis.

These are just a few short stories – there are many, many more. We’ve been privileged to see God meeting people right where they are at: in need of mercy, in need of hope, in need of access to the gospel in their heart language. We are very grateful to be able to be His hands and feet. Thank you for your prayers and your partnership in the gospel – these are your stories too!

As we look ahead to the coming months, we already see God at work – with more schools and training emerging, more young leaders being equipped and released, and new energy and vision around engaging the lost in our city and the nations. We look forward to all He will do in 2024.

We’d love to hear from you as well. Where do you see God moving? What are you trusting Him for this year? Please let us know how we can stand in prayer with you as well.

Blessings,

Mariecia, Caleb and Ari
