The School of Missions Online is a foundational course where we explore what it means to be a modern day missionary. Students who are already in Australia can join us for onsite training, immersed in our international missions community.
Join us as we study both the history and current trends of global missions, look at the heart and character of a missionary, and explore how to innovate and meet the needs of today’s modern world.
Whether you already have a clear call, or are still exploring your role in global missions, this school will broaden your understanding and help you learn more about what God wants to do through you. Catch the heart of God for the nations as we engage with experienced missionaries from a wide variety of backgrounds and ministries, and challenge ourselves to think about how we can be part of reaching the lost in this generation. Topics include: Missions - Past, Present, Future; Character of a Missionary; Discovering Your Call; Reaching The World Around You.
This course includes approximately 12 to 14 hours of teaching per week, plus further time for homework, projects and small group meetings. This course earns you 12 credits with the University of the Nations.
