Rethink your definition of “classroom” with our 4WD Adventure DTS! Tackle the core content of a Discipleship Training School from a different perspective as we take it to remote, pristine beaches and into the Outback of Australia. We’ll encounter God in new ways as we’re immersed in His creation.
We’ll kick off the first half of our DTS based primarily in our urban missions community. Over 12 weeks, we’ll explore topics like hearing God’s voice, worship, evangelism and missions. Three weeks of our lectures will take place while we camp in one of the beautiful beach areas in Western Australia accessible only by 4 wheel drive. Out of the city and off the grid, together we’ll focus on knowing God deeply while also getting to experience the beauty of His creation in Australia. Focused discipleship happens through teaching times, on the trail, around the campfire, setting up tents and taking His good news to the hard to get to places.
The second half of the DTS will go even further, as part of the 12 week outreach will take place in remote communities in Western Australia, where the majority of the population is Aboriginal. In partnership with Aboriginal elders and communities, we will minister alongside and to Australia’s First People. The other half of the outreach will take us out into the nations, going to people who need to know the transforming, compassionate love of Jesus.
We’ll then come back together, having the opportunity to share the stories of what God has done, the many people who we’ve seen saved and the transformation that’s taken place in our lives.

My team and I were walking through a market in a little village in Ethiopia. There was a mute man who also had a bad hip and leg that made him limp. As I walked past, he grabbed my hand and signalled he wanted me to pray for him. I told him I pray to Jesus Christ and he shook his head yes. I put my hand on his hip and prayed a very short prayer commanding full healing. The man didn’t seem to be healed in the moment, but by the time we had gotten back to the compound where we were staying, the pastor and other members of the community had already heard from this man that he was healed. God healed his voice so he could speak and his leg and hip where totally healed! He had run up to the main road and told everyone he could now speak and walk. A crowd of 200-250 people saw this all happen and saw the power of God. God didn’t only give a man the ability to walk without pain or a limp, but also a voice to speak. I love how the first words he was speaking was how God healed.
