On June 2nd, 2012, for the first time in history, for one day, the Christian world will mobilise as one. Churches, ministries, and mission organisations from over 200 nations are joining together for will be the largest evangelism effort on record: Global Outreach Day. The goal is for every Christian to reach one other person for Christ, whether through evangelism, prayer, or acts of compassion.
Youth With A Mission Perth is thrilled to be a part of this effort. Partnering with not only 166 other YWAM bases, but also organisations such as The Billy Graham Evangelical Association, Jews for Jesus, Call 2 All, Christ for All Nations (CfaN), and more; not to mention hundreds of churches from every continent. Individuals will be acting on their own as well. A 150 mounted horsemen in Mongolia are preparing to ride to villages in Asia to share the message of Jesus. In Budapest, Hungaria, 10,000 Christians will be setting out to the streets. 1,000 Christians in Rotterdam, Netherlands, have committed to the day.
